Most people are aware that our oceans aren’t doing so well.

More fish are caught than the population can replace through natural reproduction. Overfishing affects the balance of life in the oceans. Did you know that the northern bluefin tuna is an endangered specie? Its Atlantic population is estimated to be down almost 90 percent since the 70s. The proliferation of plastic products in the last 70 years has been extraordinary. More than 8 million tons of plastic is dumped into our oceans every year. Plastic Oceans Foundation engages people of all ages to understand the danger of continuing to perceive plastic to be disposable. #RethinkPlastic
